Welcome to “Bears of a Certain Age,” the lifestyle podcast for the bear and chub communities and their admirers, who are approaching 50 years young and up. Your Co-Hosts are Scott Fullerton from the Left of Str8 Radio Network and Jonny Shuffield from The Queer Centric. Scott and Jonny have both been entertaining the lgbtq community thru their own podcasts for a combined 20 years, and Jonny has been an entertainer and host for many lgbtq events beyond that.
We want to thank you all for the fantastic reception to the new show, it keeps growing bigger every week. Now in Week 5 There have been over 10,000 listens and downloads, great reviews by places like Bear World Magazine and The Q Review on Instagram. We’ve also had great comments in our email and DM’s, so we really appreciate it and please keep those comments and reviews coming.
On this episode we are bringing our second guest on the show to join us. He is an amazing Director, Producer and Editor of amazing features, short films, documentaries, web series and full productions, mostly of interest to the lgbtq community. Billy Clift started out as a model himself and quickly took up hair and make up, where he had a successful career and became the personal hair and make up stylist, AND very close friend, to the lovely Elizabeth Montgomery from “Bewitched.”
\After her death, he went into film making behind the scenes and has been thriving ever since, bringing his unique eye for talent, direction and style to every project he touches. Billy has just finished wrapping principle filming for his remake of the hit series, “The Lair,” that will be coming back early next year on HERE TV. He also has lots of other irons in the fire and talks about a lot of them in our interview. Find Billy Clift on his social media and websites and enjoy our chat. We very much want this to be a listener driven show, so we are asking our audience to submit questions for our “Ask The Bears” segment; submit “Bear Hugz” for people who deserve a little public praise; Tell us about their favorite things for our “Bear Necessities Segment; and any other goofy puns that Scott can think up. Submit everything to firstname.lastname@example.org
